“To be a part of a church family, a believer has to become engaged with the rest of the church family. That happens best within a small group setting.”

Plugging Into Church

Small Groups/ Sunday School Groups have an important purpose within churches.

They are designed to help people get to know each other outside of the large group worship gatherings.

They engage people in God’s Word where people can discuss and ask questions.

They provide belonging and support.

They help bring needed accountability and encouragement so that followers of Jesus can actually change and grow in obedience.

They create an organizational unit where outreach and ministry can be planned and carried out.
